Each year, Dollar Bay high school students participate in Engineering Olympics, hosted by Michigan Technological University. Students participate in a number of events that test their engineering skills, knowledge, and group skills.
Students traditionally do well in their respective events each year. Dollar Bay Physics and Marine Robotic students take part each year, led by teacher Mr. Matt Zimmer
